On July 25, 2009 we had Las Vegas Township Constable Robert Gronauer on the Veterans In Politics Talk Show on All Talk Radio.

Since the interview we have had several disturbing comments from our listeners.
Mr. Gronauer made a statement that he has not had an Audit in over Eight years and he claims his office deals with millions of dollars every year.

The Membership of the Veterans In Politics is disturbed that a government office has not had an audit in over eight years. This is an office that is elected by the people and should have oversight.

We are requesting that his office have an audit immediately, if no audit can be conducted by Clark County. We are requesting that we hire a CPA and do an independent audit on this office. After listening to the interview we believe that the Las Vegas Constables Office has something to hide.

Mr. Gronauer admitted that he instructs his Constables to do selective arrest when having an Arrest Warrant in hand. An Arrest Warrant is a Court Order informing a Law Enforcement Officer to make an arrest.

We are very disturbed that a Constable is selecting who to arrest and who not to arrest. This is going against the Courts Order, this also makes one believe that there might be improprieties, selective arrest with and Arrest Order has the appearance of racial profiling, sexual profiling, gender profiling, and etc.

Mr. Gronauer also was very upset when we talked about illegal immigration, he was very defensive stating that everyone has a right to live in this country and have a roof over their heads illegal or not.

We have had listeners stating that the Constables Office might be intimidating illegal immigrants for money, that’s why he was so defensive on this topic.

In Mr. Gronauer’s own words he admits that no Audit has been conducted on his office in over eight years, he admits that he has his Constables do selective arrest with a Court Order Arrest Warrant in hand.

We understand that after listening to Mr. Gronauer discussed illegal immigration our statement of shacking down illegal’s for money is circumstantial.

However, we are requesting an investigation done into this matter of the Las Vegas Constables Office, because we feel that it warrants an outside office to investigate these allegations to restore the public’s trust in government.
